Tickermon does not create user accounts, serve advertising, track users, or collect analytics. The app stores your Finnhub API key, tracked ticker symbols, and mascot choices locally on your device and in its private App Group so its widgets can work.
When prices are refreshed, the app or widget sends the ticker symbol and your API key directly to Finnhub over HTTPS. Tickermon does not operate an intermediary server and does not receive or retain these requests. Finnhub processes requests under its own privacy policy and terms. No other third party receives data from Tickermon. Finnhub is required to protect information it receives in accordance with its published privacy policy and applicable privacy law.
Your local settings remain until you change them, use Settings > Delete All App Data, or uninstall the app. The deletion control removes the API key, tickers, mascot choices, and shared widget data from the device. Because Tickermon has no account or server database, there is no additional developer-held user record to delete.
